Hifyber has recently introduced a multilayer pleatable synthetic HVAC media to respond to the industry focus on low energy/high efficiency filters. This media achieves an energy rating of A+ in Eurovent 4/21 with half the pressure drop of glassfiber media. Additionally, it is glass-free, has no electrostatic charge and is rated 85% ePM1 with the ISO 16890 standard.

Hifyber nanofiber products are having a large impact on the Filtration Industry due to their long life, robust bonding, high efficiency and lowest enegry consumption, together with a wide array of commercial products. The product range includes media for gas turbine, industrial dust collection, facemasks, engine air intake, electrical discharge machining (EDM), cabin air and various liquid applications. Support substrate can include 80/20 blend (cellulose/polyester), synthetics of polyester or nylon. Media construction can be nano/substrate, or nano/multilayer, either flat or corrugated. Filtration efficiencies, per EN-779, range from F7-F9 and per EN18122 range from E10- H13.
