At this year's Filtration show, Nitto will be showcasing TEMISH®, a highly porous PTFE filter developed with Nitto's proprietary polymer processing technology. This unique technology allows TEMISH® to achieve a balanced combination of both air permeability and dust/water resistance. Additionally, TEMISH® provides heat-resistance, chemical-resistance, weatherability and more, making it ideal for a variety of applications.

TEMISH® Features & Applications include:

• Clean Rooms: 999.999% filtration efficiency is possible; low pressure drop contributes to lower life cycle costs; no harmful off-gassing/fibers; excellent chemical resistance against acids.
• Consumer: excellent balance of high collection efficiency/low pressure drop; PTFE porous membrane is washable; superb dust release makes cleaning easy; additional functions such as coloring, antibacterial/antifungal coating, and deodorizing are also available.
• Dust Collection: composed of various base materials such as woven fabrics and felt laminated with PTFE in a 2-layer structure; used in filter bags for high collection efficiency at factories and incineration facilities.
• Vent Filter: water and dust resistance to prevent damage and regulate the differential pressure between the outside and inside; used in automotive, office equipment, home appliance, consumer electronics and medical equipment.
