FiltXPO™ COVID-19 PROTOCOLS FOR A SAFER EVENT

We all want to further ourselves as individuals and as an industry. That often requires gathering together to exchange ideas, connect with peers and generate the spark for new innovations. But in these times, meeting with one another demands adherence to special precautions.

FiltXPO™ is 100% committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all attendees.

FiltXPO™ has implemented precautions to protect against the spread of COVID-19. These precautions include social distancing, encouraged mask wearing, personal hygiene and hand sanitization, adherence to pathway signage, self-monitoring and self-reporting.

These preventive measures in accordance with:

Guidance provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control
All applicable requirements imposed by federal, state, the Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC), and the Miami Beach health authorities

You should not attend FiltXPO™ if:

You are experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19
You’ve experienced symptoms within 5 days prior to the event
You believe that you may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19
You have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities or the health care team responsible for your treatment

In addition, FiltXPO™ attendees should self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19, and are asked to contact lreynolds@filtxpo.com should you experience symptoms within 10 days after participating in the event.
Any private health or personal data that may be received in connection with such measures and precautions will be treated as confidentially as possible.

To Attend FiltXPO™

Before you can enter the Miami Beach Convention Center (each and every time that you enter the building), FiltXPO™ requires one of the following:

Proof of full vaccination per the CDC or WHO definition OR
A PCR test, or a PCR antigen test within 3 days OR
A document from a healthcare professional that states that you had COVID on a specific “x” date and that you are fully recovered, if you have had COVID within the last 90 days

A person will check your documents (paper or digital) at the entrance to the Miami Beach Convention Center and will allow/refuse entry based upon whether or not those documents meet the criteria outlined above.
Your vaccination status will not be marked, shared in any way, or stored.

FiltXPO™ monitors CDC guidance; protocols are reviewed on an ongoing basis, and will change as necessary.

Asterisk - note Please note that there is a City of Miami Beach ordinance in effect as of February 23, 2022, masks are optional in city facilities but are still encouraged to help curb the spread of COVID-19.

All Attendees Should:

Regularly and thoroughly wash or sanitize hands throughout the day
Observe social distancing guidelines, as outlined by the CDC and WHO
Wear a face mask at all times inside the Miami Beach Convention Center, regardless of vaccination status, per the City of Miami Beach ordinance
Non-compliance with protocols may result in relinquishment of badge and admission to events

To Assist with Compliance of Event Safety Protocols:

Disposable masks will be available at the entrance to the Miami Beach Convention Center
Hand sanitizer stations will be positioned throughout the Miami Beach Convention Center
Disinfecting wipes will be available at the exhibit hall entrance

Please note that by registering for FiltXPO™ , you agree to adhere to the precautions and policies contained herein and acknowledge and understand that you are knowingly and freely assuming all risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, by attending. Further, you understand that refusal to adhere to these policies and abide by these precautions may result in immediate removal from the event and cancellation of your registration, without a refund.
